Welcome to This and That by LC, where our creativity, imagination, and meaningful moments come together

For the past few years, we’ve been honored to be vendors at local events and markets, meeting so many wonderful families along the way. One of the questions we’ve been asked time and time again is, “Do you have a shop?” We realized that not everyone is able to attend events when we’re there, even though they still want to shop from us. So we decided to open our own online store—making it easier for everyone to purchase our handmade items, no matter where you’re located or when you’re able to shop.

We are a married couple who love creating things together. We’ve been friends since we were young kids, and now that our own children are grown, and on their own, we spend our time making more memories together – while making items that help make memories for others, too

One of our favorite things to create is our Blind Date with a Book. Each one is thoughtfully curated, wrapped to keep the title a surprise, and stuffed full of fun goodies to make the experience even more exciting. We create blind date with a book options for all ages, making them perfect for gifts, cozy, reading moments, and anyone who loves a little surprise with their stories.

Alongside our books, we also create hand-painted peg dolls, playsets, and so much more.  Every piece is made with care and attention to detail, designed to inspire open – ended play, storytelling, and imagination.

What began as a creative dream has grown into a shop filled with items meant to be loved, played with, gifted, and cherished. We are passionate about offering, unique, heartfelt creations that feel personal and special–never mass–produced, always made with intention.
